Time to Relax in a nice hot Bath

It has been a long day with rain, rain, rain. I’ve been checking facebook to follow the travels of my son’s family to NYC. Driving in Manhattan is not something to relish. I would prefer to park outside of the city and take transportation into Manhattan. The area around Times Square is always nightmare. Now they are there and safe and eating dinner at my favorite Pizza place so I can take some time to relax.

This is a recipe I use when my muscles are sore and I need to relax a bit. This will refresh the whole body with the right essential oils.
Mix 1 cup of kosher or sea salt. It depends on which I have but I prefer the Sea Salt. Add 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of Epsom salts. I bought my Epsom salts at

    Publix

today as they had Lavender. You can use either the plain Epsom salts or the scented. I usually use the scented but I still add essential oils as I like a strong aroma. Mix this all together and add about a cup to the bath allowing the salts to dissolve completely. Soak for 20 minutes.

I use my iPad and connect to Hoopla for audio books and tapes. I find a nice meditation and listen to it while I soak in the tub. I love the Dr.Teal’s Epsom salts as it retains the aroma for the entire use. I can find it at many of the stores and also on Amazon so depending on how I feel I use Lavender, Eucalyptus, Calendula and others that may be available. I also like Dr. Teal’s because it dissolves very quickly. Lately I have been using it with Tea Tree Oil, about 5 drops in the hot bath seems very good for my skin. Let me know if you have tried any other oils or salts.
