Cinnamon is a famous spice and I use it frequently during the holidays. The aroma is great in the kitchen and results in a homey atmosphere. Cinnamon has been used for centuries for digestive, circulatory and immune compromised individuals.
Cinnamon essential oil properties include anesthetic, antiseptic, antimicrobial and antioxidant characteristics and make it one of the good oils for flu and cold relief.
The recipes can be used in a diffuser or with added carrier oil used for massage. THe recipes can also be used in a hot bath but cut the amounts in half.
For relief of indigestion or nausea use:
* 2 drops of cinnamon essential oil
* 2 drops of coriander seed essential oil
* 4 drops of tangerine or orange essential oil
To enhance circulation, warmth and blood flow:
* 2 drops of cinnamon essential oil
* 4 drops of lavender essential oil
* 4 drops of ginger essential oil
To reduce stress and relax:
* 4 drops cinnamon essential oi
* 6 drops of orange essential oil
To relieve fatigue:
* 4 drops of Cinnamon essential oil
* 4 drops peppermint essential oil
* 4 drops rosemary essential oil ( this is one of my favorite essential oils)
Remember to use these for massage add 4 teaspoons of almond oil or a carrier oil of your choice
