Get out your hat and Cauldron, the Witchy Woman is at work and looking for something to stir up today. With summer in full swing in Florida and getting hotter everyday, I thought I would put together some aids for the summer months. My lips tend to get incredibly dry in the sun so today is going to be a lip balm day. There are several recipes for lip balm in my ebooks which you can buy for you kindle from these links:

I continue to add recipes to my collection and usually add them to this blog but also compile books of my favorites every now and then.
The one I am sharing today is one that is very soothing and easy to make.
1 TBLSP Shea Butter (it goes without saying I use all organic products where possible)
3 TBLSP Calendula herbal oil
1 1/2 TBLSP beeswax pastilles
10-15 drops of Lavender essential oil
A few drops of Vitamin E oil
Get out the trusty Cauldron (double boiler), put on your witches hat and find a stick to stir with!
Put the beeswax, butter and calendula oil in the top of the double boiler and heat until everything is melted. Stir together as it melts.
Once it is melted, take it off the heat and add the Vitamin E and the essential oil
Immediately pour this into small lip balm tubes.
