Lemongrass Recipes

Lemongrass essential is used quite often in Ayurvedic medicine to help lower fevers and calm the nervous system It is also used in traditional chinese medicine to ease stomach pans and relieve headaches,cold, the flu and rheumatism.

Lemon grass essential oil has analgesic, antimicrobial, antiseptic,astringent, bacterial deodorant diuretic, fungicide and sedative properties which make it perfect to use for colds and flu relief.

Be sure to use a patch test with Lemongrass as it can sting or you might have skin reactions to this oil.
So what are some ways to use Lemongrass Essential Oil?

TO help with insomnia:

4 drops of Lemongrass essential oil
4 drops of Lavender essential oil

Massage for aches and pains with:
4 drops Lemongrass essential oil
4 drops Ginger essential oil
4 drops Lavender essential oil
4 drops almond oil (carrier oil)

For upset stomach:
Use this in a diffuser or as a message blend
2 drops Lemongrass essential oil
2 drops Peppermint essential oil
3 drops Mandarin essential oil
4 drops carrier oil, perfer almond oil
