Lemon Essential Oil Recipes

Lemon is such a refreshing fragrance. I have been doing some interior painting and diffusing the lemon essential oil has helped eliminate the paint smell. We also used it growing up for reducing fevers or giving us energy. Hot lemonade is still a favorite of mine when I am not feeling good but I use real lemons to make it not lemon essential oil.

Lemon oil is antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is ideal to help in fighting viruses, reducing cold and flu symptoms like swollen glands or aches and pains.
A friend of mine just sent some lemons to me from Arizona. They are huge and I am trying to use every bit of their value. You can make great sugar candy with the rinds or just put the rinds in a pot of boiling water to disinfect you kitchen area with the steam that escapes. You can also burn them if you have a fireplace, just slice them and throw them in the fire to release the lemon oil.
